The Mustang P51-D Super 500 Class is a 100% Large Scale WW2 Aircraft. Features a super detailed scale pilot, inner seat, instrument panel, joy stick and sighting device. A real life like – gliding main cockpit canopy maximizes the P-51D scale functions as well. The model features an electronically controlled retractable landing gear. The retractable landing gear has spring loaded damping mechanism for rough surfaces, which is helpful on takeoff and will help the model more smoothly. The LED lighting system in the main wing makes this model much more attractive during night flight. With a powerful 500 Class Sized out runner brushless motor, it can execute basic aerobatics with ease with power equal to nitro engines. The P51-D 500 class also features a servo controlled flap system that allows this plane to take-off and land at very low speeds. The fuselage has a removable structure fixed by a super strong Neodymium magnet. This is convenient for dis-assembly of the electronic components and for the maintenance of the battery, speed control and receiver. The large 500 Class size (51 inch wingspan! ) allows the aircraft to have better wind penetration than smaller and lighter aircraft. Its also easier to take off and land on grassy fields. The Mustang includes a 6 Channel 2.4 GHZ radio system that controls the flaps and retractable landing gear. Also features a 6 channel 2.4ghz DSSS dual antenna receiver.
