The Sopwith Camel was quite possibly the most famous aircraft used during the first World War and now Balsa USA has released an exciting, quarter scale version of this classic British biplane fighter. Historically based on the Royal Flying Corps “Dog Fighter”, this 84 inch span model features full size rolled plans and instructions, die cut parts, pre-bent wire landing gear and struts with balsa fairings, and an ABS plastic Cowl and forward “hump”. Completion requires either a 20-30cc gasoline engine or a 1.2-1.5 4-stroke glow engine and a radio system. And like all Balsa USA models, it is as easy to fly as it is to build!
