“Blind” Transmitter Knob

BlindTransmitterKnodI like to use flaperons or spoilers on my models but don’t like to look away while flying to see if I have the correct knob or to check its position. My transmitter has a dial for channel six, and it is very tough to know where it is set without looking. To solve this dilemma, I installed a 2-56 socket head cap screw on the top of the knob. I removed the knob from the transmitter with an Allen wrench, then drilled a no. 51 hole in the knob and threaded it with a 2-56 tap. The screw provides instant tactile feedback, allowing me to easily adjust the control without looking.
