Great Planes P-6E Hawk Electric ARF

As the last biplane fighter built for the Army Air Corps, the Curtiss P-6E was also one of the most beautiful bipes of the 1930s. By the time it was introduced, however, the era of fabric-covered wood biplanes was rapidly giving way to mass production, advanced aerodynamics and all-aluminum skins. The only original P-6E still in existence is at the U.S. Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio — and the only Almost-Ready-to-Fly R/C model of this exceptional aircraft is Great Planes’ scale replica. It’s the easy way to enjoy the P-6E’s uniquely graceful lines, vibrant colors and sterling performance.

FEATURES:
* Assembles in only a few hours, with years of satisfying scale flight
* Factory-built from light, strong, interlocking wood parts
* Reproduces the original’s intricate 7-color trim scheme in glowing MonoKote covering, right down to the delicate scalloping on the wings’ trailing edges
* Delivers “Big Plane” presence and performance in a compact, park flyer-size ARF
