FLY RC Magazine - Weekly Wing Tips: DRAINING PUFFED LIPO’S

Here’s an easy and inexpensive way I drain my “puffed” LiPos. I connect the battery to a 50W, 12-volt light bulb and let it light the bulb. In a few minutes, the light goes out. After 24 hours, I do it again to get the last of the energy out of the LiPo. Then it’s all drained and ready to be safely disposed.
